During our research and discussions, we consciously maintained this question in our minds. We add that colonialism does in fact exist, and this can be illustrated through a number of case studies. Delving deeper into papers, articles, and texts, it became increasingly difficult to differentiate amongst colonialism, neo-colonialism, capitalism and finally imperialism. All movements are of an sparing nature. This is a tightly-knit relationship, and I dont think it is possible to develop one phenomenon without mentioning another.
