Selena; The impression

I decided to write rough Selena the movie because; it is film that deals with a clash of two different cultures and non being able to communicate in (L2) language with perfection. I will begin with the telling of the story and how it begins, further much I will explain a short paragraph where Selena is reference in the movie. I will also talk about my perception, the significance, and advantages to be bilingual. Being bilingual can be honour experience. Children who are learning to speak two or more languages follow patterns of learning.
The movie and how it begins. Selenas last performances, a concert that dis put up record-breaking crowds, then flashes back to Selenas childhood in Texas. This is a very touching, and ultimately tragical film. It tells the story of the Grammy-winning Tejano singer Selena, who was killed at age 23 by her fan-club president in 1995, and it took place in Courpus Christi, Texas.
Abraham Quintanilla, Salinass father, was a former singer himself, he recognized that Selena had a natural singing ability, and organized a musical band formed by her and her siblings. At a very young age shes become superstar in the Tejano music industry. Her father Abraham is proud of her daughter Selena, but cant take that fact that shes growing up.



This leads to various conflicts, which boil over when Selena travel in love with the bands lead guitarist, Chris (Jon Seda). When Selena seems content and on the cap of success, her life is tragically cut short. Selena untimely dyes when (Lupe Ontiveros) is holding a gun to her own head.
What I knew about Selena was very little, earlier to her death and video. I assumed that the movie will not have an important message other than that fact that this was ground on a true story which lead to her tragic death.
